TL;DR: We tracked 23 landscaping trade shows, conferences, and events in the US from November 2026 through 2027: 21 with confirmed dates and 2 more due later. Equip Expo 2026 just ran October 20-23 in Louisville, and Equip Expo 2027 is October 19-22, 2027, again at the Kentucky Exposition Center. For owners and managers, NALP ELEVATE runs November 8-11, 2026 in Tampa and November 7-10, 2027 in Anaheim. January is the busiest month, with five regional shows, including MANTS (January 13-15, Baltimore) and Northern Green (January 19-21, St. Paul).
Every date and city here comes from the organizer’s own website, checked on October 23, 2026. Ticket prices are listed only where the organizer has published them. Confirm before you book.
This guide is for landscape, lawn care, tree care, irrigation, and snow companies: owners, managers, and the crew leaders you might bring along. Each card says plainly who should go, so you can skip the shows that do not fit your work.

Chart: 21 landscaping events with confirmed dates between November 2026 and December 2027, by month. Jan 2027 is the busiest month (5 events), and 8 of the 21 fall between January and April 2027.
For landscapers: the calendar follows your season. Shows bunch up in January and February, when crews are off and you are setting prices and buying for spring. Then they go quiet from March to late May, when nobody can leave. The fall has the equipment show and the big association conference, after the mowing season winds down.
Equip Expo 2026 Recap and Equip Expo 2027 Dates
Equip Exposition is the show most landscapers mean when they say “the trade show.” It is run by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) and it used to be called GIE+EXPO.
- Equip Expo 2026: October 20-23, 2026, Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville. The welcome reception was Tuesday, October 20, and the show floor ran Wednesday through Friday. Hardscape North America ran alongside it, October 21-23.
- 2026 tickets: $60 online in advance, $120 at the door, and free admission on Friday. Vendors who were not exhibiting paid $450 per person.
- Equip Expo 2027: October 19-22, 2027, Louisville.
- After that: Louisville again October 17-20, 2028, then Orlando in 2029 (October 10-12), as OPEI starts rotating between the two cities.

For landscapers: if you only travel to one show a year and you run equipment, make it Equip. Go with a list: which mowers you plan to replace, whether you are testing battery equipment for HOA or commercial accounts that ask about noise, and what attachments your compact loader is missing. Friday was free in 2026, which made it an easy extra day for crew leaders. Do not count on a free Friday in 2027 until OPEI posts 2027 pricing.
Which Landscaping Event Fits Your Company?
- Buying equipment: Equip Expo in October, or your regional winter show if Louisville is too far.
- Buying plants and materials: MANTS in the Mid-Atlantic, Farwest in the West, Cultivate in the Midwest, The Landscape Show in Florida.
- Running the business (owners and managers): NALP ELEVATE, NALP Leaders Forum for owners only, and the Lawn & Landscape Business Builders Summit if you are growing fast or thinking about selling.
- Lawn care (fertilization and weed control): the Lawn & Landscape Lawn Care Conference in February.
- Software and scheduling: the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference in July.
- Snow removal: SIMA’s Snow & Ice Symposium in June.
- Tree care and irrigation: TCI EXPO and the Irrigation Show.
- Close to home: your state or regional show: Green & Growin’, Northern Green, GLTE, ProGreen, iLandscape, CLCA, The Landscape Show.
Chart: the 21 dated landscaping events in this guide by type: 8 regional trade show, 6 national expo, 4 association conference, 3 business and tech conference.
Chart: host states for the 21 dated events. 16 states host at least one, led by Florida (4), California (2), Nevada (2).
Who to send:
- Equipment shows (Equip Expo, regional trade show floors): the owner plus whoever maintains the fleet or a senior crew leader who will run the machines.
- Owner and management conferences (ELEVATE, Leaders Forum, Business Builders Summit): the owner or general manager. ELEVATE also has sessions by role, so a branch or account manager can get value.
- Software (Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference): the owner and the office or operations manager who will actually use the system.
- Specialty shows (SIMA, TCI EXPO, Irrigation Show, Lawn Care Conference): the person who runs that division.
In the Midwest: Northern Green (St. Paul) and the Great Lakes Trade Expo (Grand Rapids) run the same week in January, and iLandscape (Schaumburg) follows in late February, so most companies pick one regional show. SIMA is in Milwaukee in June 2027, and Equip Expo in Louisville is within a day’s drive for much of the region.
For landscapers: regional shows are the largest group here. A regional show costs a day of driving instead of flights and hotels, and the suppliers you meet there actually deliver to your area.
Landscaping Events Still Ahead in 2026
Four events close out 2026, from the national NALP conference to tree care and irrigation.
CLCA Annual Convention 2026 (Nov 4-6, Carlsbad, CA)
Who should go: California landscape contractors, especially owners who want to meet peers from other parts of the state.
Why it is worth the trip: The California Landscape Contractors Association combines a full day of education with landscape tours and the Trophy Awards dinner, which honors the best California landscape projects of the year. It is the one statewide event where you see what other California firms are building and how they run their companies.
NALP ELEVATE 2026 (Nov 8-11, Tampa, FL)

Who should go: Owners, general managers, branch managers, and account managers at landscape, lawn care, and design-build companies.
Why it is worth the trip: This is the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ main conference. NALP lists 2,440 attendees and builds the program around peer roundtables by role, so a branch manager sits with other branch managers. The ELEVATE Expo covers software, equipment and fleet, and lawn care, irrigation, and plant health suppliers.
TCI EXPO 2026 (Nov 12-14, Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Who should go: Landscape companies with tree crews, plus arborists and tree care business owners.
Why it is worth the trip: The Tree Care Industry Association lists 29 education sessions and 46 trade show floor sessions and demos, plus pre-conference workshops on November 11. If tree work is a growing share of your revenue, this is the tree care industry’s own trade show.
Irrigation Show and Education Week 2026 (Dec 7-10, Las Vegas, NV)
Who should go: Irrigation contractors, landscape companies with an irrigation division, and technicians working toward certification.
Why it is worth the trip: The Irrigation Association runs four days of education and certification with a two-day trade show on December 9-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Winter 2027: Regional Shows and Planning Season
January and February are when most landscape companies can spare a few days. There are regional shows in the Mid-Atlantic, the Carolinas, Minnesota, Michigan, Colorado, and Illinois.
MANTS 2027 (Jan 13-15, Baltimore, MD)

Who should go: Landscape contractors, growers, and garden centers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast who buy plants and hard goods for the coming season.
Why it is worth the trip: The Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show says it connects over 11,000 professionals at the Baltimore Convention Center. It is a buying show: you meet the nurseries and suppliers you will order from in spring, three days in mid-January before the season starts.
Green & Growin' 27 (Jan 18-22, Greensboro, NC)
Who should go: Landscapers, nurseries, and garden centers in North Carolina and the surrounding states.
Why it is worth the trip: The NC Nursery & Landscape Association runs a full week of education plus a Marketplace trade show. Registration opens November 2, 2026, with a super early-bird rate through November 20, so this is one to decide on soon.
Northern Green 2027 (Jan 19-21, St. Paul, MN)

Who should go: Landscape and lawn care companies in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.
Why it is worth the trip: The organizers call it the largest green industry trade show and educational conference in the north-central region. Education is split into “villages” by specialty, pre-conference sessions run January 18, and the trade show floor is open January 20 (9am to 3:30pm) and January 21 (8am to 11am).
Great Lakes Trade Expo 2027 (Jan 19-21, Grand Rapids, MI)
Who should go: Landscapers and nurseries in Michigan and the Great Lakes states.
Why it is worth the trip: The Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association’s annual conference and trade show at DeVos Place. It runs the same week as Northern Green, so Upper Midwest companies usually pick the one closer to home.
ProGreen EXPO 2027 (Jan 26-28, Denver, CO)
Who should go: Landscape and green industry companies in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain states.
Why it is worth the trip: The organizers describe it as the only green industry conference of its kind in the Rocky Mountain region, with more than 5,000 professionals at the Colorado Convention Center every year.
NALP Leaders Forum 2027 (Feb 3-5, Fajardo, Puerto Rico)
Who should go: Owners, CEOs, and senior leaders of landscape and lawn care companies. Not for crew or office staff.
Why it is worth the trip: NALP calls it its executive peer experience: business outlook sessions plus structured networking at the El Conquistador Resort. Useful if you want honest conversations about pricing, labor, and growth with owners who are not your local competitors.
Lawn & Landscape Lawn Care Conference 2027 (Feb 10-11, Orlando area, FL)
Who should go: Lawn care companies that apply fertilizer, weed control, and other treatments, as opposed to mowing and maintenance firms.
Why it is worth the trip: Lawn & Landscape magazine built this event for companies that apply fertilizer and chemical treatments, because their problems differ from design-build, maintenance, and irrigation companies. It runs at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, with a trade show floor of lawn care tools and suppliers.
iLandscape 2027 (Feb 24-26, Schaumburg, IL)
Who should go: Landscape contractors in Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Chicago area.
Why it is worth the trip: Landscape Illinois runs the 14th annual iLandscape show at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. When the Mid-Am trade show in Chicago stopped running, its organizers pointed attendees to iLandscape. Late February timing is right for locking in equipment and materials before spring.
Summer 2027: Business, Snow, Tech, and Plant Shows
None of the events we found run in March or April. From late May on, the events shift to business strategy, snow planning, software, and big plant shows.
Lawn & Landscape Business Builders Summit 2027 (May 26-27, Nashville, TN)
Who should go: Owners who want to grow, either on their own or with outside investors, and owners thinking about selling.
Why it is worth the trip: Lawn & Landscape describes it as a summit for landscapers looking to grow organically or with outside investors, including how to handle the growing pains. Registration for the Grand Hyatt Nashville event was already open in October 2026.
SIMA Snow & Ice Symposium 2027 (Jun 22-25, Milwaukee, WI)
Who should go: Landscape companies that run snow removal in winter, and dedicated snow and ice contractors.
Why it is worth the trip: The Snow & Ice Management Association promises 25+ education sessions and 10 hours of trade show at the Baird Center. June gives you time to plan contracts, pricing, and equipment well before the first storm.
Cultivate'27 (Jul 10-13, Columbus, OH)
Who should go: Landscapers who buy a lot of plant material, plus growers and garden centers.
Why it is worth the trip: AmericanHort hosts this all-industry horticulture show at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. It leans toward growers and retail, so it fits design-build and installation companies that want to see new plant varieties before their competitors do.
Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference 2027 (Jul 28-30, Las Vegas, NV)
Who should go: Owners and operations managers choosing or replacing scheduling, estimating, CRM, or fleet software.
Why it is worth the trip: Lawn & Landscape calls it the leading software and technology event for the green industry, built around companies that have already put software and technology to work in their operations. The 2027 edition moves to Caesars Palace.
The Landscape Show 2027 (Aug 18-20, Orlando, FL)

Who should go: Landscapers, lawn care companies, irrigation pros, and nurseries in Florida and the Southeast.
Why it is worth the trip: Produced by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association, the show lists 7,000+ attendees, 400+ exhibiting companies, and 30+ education sessions at the Orange County Convention Center. It is the largest regional show on this list.
Farwest Show 2027 (Aug 25-27, Portland, OR)

Who should go: West Coast landscapers who buy nursery stock, plus growers and retailers.
Why it is worth the trip: The Oregon Association of Nurseries runs it at the Oregon Convention Center and lists 300+ exhibitors and 4,000+ attendees. Bus tours of Oregon nurseries are a big part of the draw if you source plants from the Northwest.
Fall 2027: Equip Expo, ELEVATE, and Irrigation
Equip Expo and NALP’s main conference both land in October and November, once mowing slows down.
Equip Exposition 2027 (Oct 19-22, Louisville, KY)
Who should go: Every landscape and lawn care company that buys mowers, compact equipment, trailers, or hand tools. Bring the person who maintains your fleet.
Why it is worth the trip: Equip, formerly GIE+EXPO, is the largest show on this list. OPEI says the 2025 show drew nearly 30,000 registered attendees from all 50 states and 52 countries. Indoor exhibits plus the outdoor demo area let your crew leaders run machines before you buy (16+ with a valid driver’s license to demo).
Prices shown are the 2026 rates from the official site; 2027 pricing was not posted yet.
NALP ELEVATE 2027 (Nov 7-10, Anaheim, CA)
Who should go: Owners and managers at landscape and lawn care companies, especially West Coast firms that skipped Tampa.
Why it is worth the trip: NALP has already posted 2027 dates at the Anaheim Convention Center. Same format as the 2026 event: education, peer roundtables by role, and the ELEVATE Expo.
Irrigation Show and Education Week 2027 (Nov 15-18, San Antonio, TX)
Who should go: Irrigation contractors and landscape companies with irrigation crews, especially in Texas and the Southwest.
Why it is worth the trip: The Irrigation Association lists San Antonio for 2027, with the trade show on November 17-18. If you work in Texas or the Southwest, this is the year it comes to you.
Expected in 2027 (Dates Not Announced Yet)
Two shows that had not posted 2027 dates when we checked.
TCI EXPO 2027
Who should go: Tree crews, arborists, and landscape companies with a tree division.
Why it is worth the trip: TCIA had not posted 2027 dates or a city when we checked. The show runs every November (Fort Lauderdale in 2026).
TNLA Nursery/Landscape EXPO 2027
Who should go: Landscapers, nurseries, and suppliers in Texas and the South.
Why it is worth the trip: The Texas Nursery & Landscape Association ran the 2026 EXPO August 11-13 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. 2027 dates were not on the official site yet.
The Whole Landscaping Year on One Timeline
Every dated event on one line. Notice the empty spring: none of the events we found run in March or April, the months landscapers are busiest.
Chart: every dated event in this guide on one timeline, November 2026 (orange, still in 2026) through December 2027 (navy). The first is CLCA Annual Convention 2026 on Nov 4-6, 2026; the last is Irrigation Show and Education Week 2027 on Nov 15-18, 2027.
How Landscapers Get Real Value From a Trade Show
A show is worth the trip when it changes something you do next season: what you buy, what you charge, or what you sell.
Before the show:
- Write down the two or three decisions you need to make: replace mowers or keep them another year, add a service like irrigation repair or lighting, switch scheduling software.
- Bring your numbers: the fleet replacement list, current labor rates, the price increase you are planning for spring, and last year’s material costs. Get at least two quotes on anything big so you can compare after the show.
- Check the exhibitor list and plan to see the dealers and suppliers tied to those decisions first. Ask for show pricing.
- Bring a crew leader to equipment demos. The people who run the machines notice things an owner misses.
After the show:
- Lock in supplier pricing and early orders for spring while the quotes are fresh.
- If you add a service, put it on your website and Google Business Profile before spring calls start, not after.
- Post what you learned or bought: a short video of the new equipment, a photo of the plant varieties you will offer next season.
- Note which show produced a supplier, a hire, or a new service. That tells you which ones to repeat next year.
For landscapers: the cheapest win is timing. A January show lets you set prices and order before the spring rush, so you are not quoting jobs in April with last year’s costs.
Plan Your 2027 Landscaping Event Calendar
The short version: buying equipment, go to Equip Expo (October 19-22, 2027, Louisville). Running the company, go to NALP ELEVATE (November 8-11, 2026, Tampa, or November 7-10, 2027, Anaheim). Want something close and cheap, pick your regional winter show.
If you do lawn care, snow, trees, or irrigation: the Lawn Care Conference in February, the SIMA Symposium in June, TCI EXPO in November, and the Irrigation Show in December 2026 or November 2027.
We will update this page when TCI EXPO and the TNLA EXPO post their 2027 dates.
Data Sources: Dates, cities, venues, and ticket prices come from the organizers’ official websites (Equip Exposition, NALP, CLCA, TCIA, Irrigation Association, MANTS, NCNLA, Northern Green, Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association, ProGreen EXPO, Lawn & Landscape, Landscape Illinois, SIMA, AmericanHort, FNGLA, Oregon Association of Nurseries, and TNLA), checked on October 23, 2026. The Equip Expo 2025 attendance figure and the 2029 Orlando dates come from OPEI’s February 2026 announcement. Attendance and exhibitor numbers are the organizers’ own figures.
